Paul Armstrong is an award-winning film, TV and theatre producer with over 100 film, TV producing and theatre credits. He was the first to show short narrative films on a regular basis starting in the mid 1990s with Watch My Shorts and Indie Film Night. Since co-founding the Celluloid Social Club in 1997, an in-person screening series of short films, Paul has been its programmer and producer. Through the Club he also co-founded and produced the Hot Shot Shorts Contest. Paul was Executive Director of the short film program Crazy8s for 9 years until 2022. In 2016 and 2017 he oversaw 9 short documentaries being filmed in China. 

He is currently in post-production as Executive Producer on the Telefilm Talent to Watch-funded feature ‘The Chinatown Diner’ by Lawrence Le Lam through Crazy8s as the Designated Partner which he secured while at Crazy8s. Other feature film credits include the documentary ‘Cool Daddy’ with the CBC documentary Channel directed by Roger Larry; ‘Lawrence & Holloman’ based on the play by Morris Panych directed by Matthew Kowalchuk; ‘Moving Malcolm’ by Benjamin Ratner starring Elizabeth Berkley; the Genie Award-nominated ‘See Grace Fly’ by Pete McCormack and ‘Ill-Fated’ by Mark A. Lewis which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. 

Paul has also produced a TV episode for Red Bull, produced TV commercials for WirelessWave/T-Booth and Storyeum, web videos for Nintendo, Electronic Arts and Molson Canada and the live talk show ‘Daytime’ on Rogers. He has been on the Board of the Vancouver Short Film Festival since its inception. He has also produced music videos for Bif Naked, Jim Byrnes and Jeff Martin and produced 20 plays.

David is a keynote speaker, actor, event producer, and performance and acting coach. A graduate of Studio 58. He also works as an emcee, auctioneer and / or a corporate comedian. He made 20 short films, produced, and hosted a TV series as well as television special. He was the Entertainment Manager of the 2010 Winter Olympics. He also created and managed entertainment for Sea Vancouver Festival, Richmond Maritime Festival, Re-discover Granville, Maple Ridge Recycle Days.  He has won some awards like: Business in Vancouver Top 40 Under 40, Legacy Award Winner, Teacher of the Year, Georgia Straight Best Comedian in Vancouver (x2) and the City of Vancouver Award of Excellence. David loves to laugh and loves to learn. Matangi Priya is a third-year Computer Science and Music student at the University of Victoria. A singer and creator of R&B and alternative pop music, she blends smooth rhythms with experimental pop sounds in her original work. Recently, Matangi joined the Celluloid Social Club as a webmaster, where she combines her love for film and technology to enhance the club’s online presence. She’s passionate about storytelling through both music and film, and enjoys connecting with creative communities to share and support artistic expression.
